The 24 volt 5.0 amp XLR connector battery charger from Universal Power Group (UPG) is the perfect solution for ensuring your mobility scooter or power chair is always charged and ready for use. This charger is unique in that it is compatible with both standard AGM and Gel cell batteries, and features a convenient switch for easy transition between the two.

Specifically designed for 17 Ah batteries or larger found in mobility scooters and power chairs with an off-board charging female XLR socket, this charger includes an automatic shut-off feature when the charging cycle is completed. Keep in mind that the charging time may vary depending on the current state of your battery.

The charger is also a direct replacement for the HP8204B model, offering peace of mind with its automatic shut-off feature once charging is finished. As mentioned earlier, the charging time will depend on the level of depletion in your battery.

To ensure safety, the charger is equipped with Short Circuit Protection to prevent any damage in case of a short circuit, as well as Reverse Polarity Protection to avoid issues from reversed connections. Its Fully Automatic Operation allows for a worry-free charging experience, with a final float mode that can maintain a fully charged battery indefinitely.

In addition, the charger includes features like Low Voltage Protection to prevent charging if the battery voltage is below a certain level, and an LED Display with three indicators for power on, charging, and fully charged status. The lightweight design of this switch mode charger makes it more convenient than traditional linear chargers.

Overall, the 24 volt 5.0 amp XLR connector battery charger from UPG is a reliable and efficient choice for keeping your mobility scooter or power chair charged and ready to go at all times.
